A Memory Keeping Blog

Hi there and welcome to CLICK.WRITE.POST. – a memory making and keeping blog.

When I was a little girl, I watched The Parent Trap on repeat. You know the one with Hayley Mills. There is one scene that stood out to me then and still does today. As Susan McKendrick (Hayley Mills) is hugging her grandfather, she starts sniffing his coat. Her grandfather asks Susan what she is doing. To which Susan responds, “Making a memory.”

I’m like Susan; I make memories, lots of them. What I don’t do so well is document those memories. That is where this blog comes in. CLICK.WRITE.POST. is a place to help memory makers, like you and me, also become memory keepers.

Even the name CLICK.WRITE.POST. is a reminder of what we need to do to capture life’s experiences:

CLICK. – a camera’s shutter button or the keys on a keyboard
WRITE. – a few words describing the details you want to remember
POST. – a memory someplace to share or experience again

Anything can become a memory; you shape the details, as you want to remember them. I have selected to categorize my memories as follows:

Life & Love
Food & Travel
Copper & Friends
Everything Else

These headings are found along the top of the blog just under the blog header. There are two options with each heading: hover over the heading and click on a drop down to see specific information; or click on each heading to see all blog posts related to that category.

So what do you think? Will you join me on the memory-making, memory-keeping journey? I sure do hope you’ll say yes.

    1. Thank you! I hope you not only read about my memory making and keeping adventures, but that you also join me in documenting. I bet you have great stories even more so now with the kiddos and your new puppy!
